 SAFE
The SAFE-Office assessment consists of five elements.
-
Basic information regarding the employee (ie. employee number, title, department and office etc.) is either entered into the system or loaded automatically from an employee database.
The employee chooses the best representation of their workstation setup and the type of equipment they are using.
The employee fills out a symptom survey, where employees are asked to rate each body part on a 0 to 10 comfort scale. The body parts included are:
- Hand and wrist (left and right)
- Elbows (left and right)
- Shoulders (left and right)
|
- Head
- Back
- Neck
|
- Legs
- Eyes
|
The employee answers specific questions regarding their equipment and/or setup of their equipment.
-
Based on the answers in the questionairre a database of primary and secondary recommendations is shown to the employee. Primary recommendations are "Employee Empowered" recommendations which the employee can do for free or relatively little cost. Secondary recommendations are products the employee can purchase in order to improve their current situation.
